COUNCILLORS WANTED!

New Councillors urgently needed

The Parish Council are very short of members, due to the death of a long standing member and 2 recent resignations. By law we need at least 3 Councillors to attend each meeting, or decisions cannot be made, invoices paid, or local problems referred to the District and County Councils or other agencies. With only 3 remaining Councillors we are near to not being able to function if Councillors are ill or on holiday.

WE NEED YOU!

If you are interested in what happens in your village please join us to make a difference! We need local people to decide how the villages of the parish are maintained and what improvements should be made. You don’t have to be interested in politics, that does not apply to parish councils. Just be able to chat to other locals and bring their views to our monthly meetings. No election will be needed, Councillors can agree to co-opt you on.
