Hopwas Playing Field

The Parish Council recently decided to remove the goal post and netting from Hopwas Playing Field due to vandalism and nuisance caused to neighbours.  If any local sports club would be prepared to take away the equipment please get in touch. Councillors were sorry to have to take this decision and are aware that there have been some complaints locally.  They will talk about any alternatives at their next meeting.

If any local people wish to share ideas about how children could exercise safely in the playing field without causing problems for nearby households please come along to the Annual Parish Meeting at 7.15 on Thursday 9th May at Thomas Barnes School. If you are unable to come please contact the Parish Clerk before the meeting with your ideas and views.
