Do It – Staffordshire

Volunteer Week – 1-7th June 2020
Staffordshire is getting a new digital volunteer platform: Do It – Staffordshire

During the coronavirus outbreak, we have seen a huge surge in residents stepping up and putting themselves forward to help their community.

We want to build on this amazing community spirit and make it as easy as possible for volunteers and local voluntary groups to connect.

To help us achieve this, Staffordshire County Council have commissioned the popular digital volunteering platform,

‘Do It’ to create a Staffordshire only ‘eco-system’ within their website.

The ‘Do It’ platform already has hundreds of local organisations and volunteers signed up as members.

The new ‘Do It – Staffordshire’ area of the website will enable residents to sign up to be a ‘Staffordshire Volunteer’ and find local opportunities. The system also enables local voluntary organisations, mutual aid groups and charities to digitally share their opportunities for free and manage all the applications they receive.

The “Do It – Staffordshire” page is still being built, but during volunteer week, we want to encourage as many local organisations and residents to sign up to ‘Do It’.

Help us share the message:

You can help us to get people signed up to Do It by sharing these posts on Facebook and Twitter.
