The Parish Council is responsible for raising and spending public money and budgeting has to be done carefully for this. Every year the Council requests a sum from the District Council, called the precept.

As the Parish Council controls public money its accounts have to be audited every year. Copies of the Annual Return are published on the Council notice boards and this website.
